Andromeda’s dance experience began in Latin and ballroom before a sudden transition to Middle Eastern dance in 2002.
Since then she has studied oriental and fusion styles with national and international teachers.
She has been teaching bellydance since 2006 and is JWAAD qualified.
She loves the scope that Gothic bellydance gives for drama, intensity and the unexpected.
Andromeda is known for her fluid and lyrical dance style. Learn how to use a veil (or two!) to give your dance variety, suspense and surprise. This is a technique workshop, not a choreography, to give you a toolbox of ideas suited to fusion or traditional dance styles for making more of this quintessential bellydance prop.
Veil work - it's not just waving a bit of cloth around!
Bring a veil or two, silk preferred if possible. Semi-circular and rectangular would be best so you can see which techniques work better with the different shapes.
